Have to say, maybe the FUNEST show I ever attended was The Ramones at Royce Hall on UCLA . 10/28/79 . It was Tommy was gone by that time , but they still were awesome .
I greatly enjoyed their monster movie sort of humor , and tongue in cheek tough guy attitude , ( unlike some of the later hardcore punks who took the violence seriously ). I I think of any major rock group the have the highest loss of members, 3 of the original 4 ! And the opposite of Spinal Tap, it is the drummers that live on ...

It's Alive is probably their tightest played show, 12/31/77. A week later at the Palladium, NYC is great too, available on white vinyl. Check their performance at the US festival also, a real hot show with Marky on drums. RAMONES
